Retaliation, but what will be the response?

1. Iran sent wave of missiles at Israel. Israel claims all blocked. Iran claims hits on military installations.

2. Biden orders American military to defend Israel.

3. Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claims responsibility.

4. 102 missiles fired at Tel Aviv and Quds. Definitely one hit on Tel Aviv.

5. Second wave of missiles allegedly on way. Live feeds showing Iron Dome in action, and bomb shelter sirens blaring.

6. Iran stating that this is limited and restrained response, essentially warning Israel not to act otherwise it will engage bigger.

8. Iran International: The missile attack on Israel on Tuesday was a response to assassination of Ismail Haniyeh and Hassan Nasrallah, Iran's IRGC says in a statement. "It should be noted that this operation was carried out with the approval of the Supreme National Security Council, the directive of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, and the support and backing of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army and the Ministry of Defense.

   (We warn) that if the Zionist Regime responds militarily to this operation, which is in accordance with the country's legal rights and international law, it will face further crushing and destructive attacks."

9. I cannot authenticate this video but it’s a clip compilation posted by Fars News Agency which is a media outlet controlled by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

10. Israel’s F-35 Nevatim air base was hit. Extent of damage yet to be known, but TRT World has posted a video.

11. Iran claims to have used its Fatah hypersonic ballistic missiles for the first time.

12. The attack is over. 180 missiles.

13. IDF Spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said: “This fire will have consequences. We have plans, and we will act.”

14. "We are proud of the actions that we've taken alongside Israel to protect and defend Israel. We have made clear that there will be consequences, severe consequences for this attack, and we will work with Israel to make that the case." said Jake Sullivan, US National Security Adviser.
