This 1990 video of Nelson Mandela being challenged, and him elegantly responding in support of Yasser Arafat and Palestine, is more powerful than any article I could imagine.

It would be grand if Americans and the Brits gained an African perspective after I’ve received their perspective my entire lifetime.

The world is not the U.S.A. It’s Gaza, China, Russia, Argentina, Namibia, Georgia, South Africa and almost 200 others. Self-determination must trump Americanisation.
