Ukraine's awful draft law for military conscription of youth, emigrants and the disabled
In an attempt to replace hundreds of thousands of dead soldiers, Ukraine's Parliament is debating whether to drastically increase mobilisation.
December 25 is important for two reasons in Ukraine: Jesus and the military.
In what would’ve been a comedy show two years ago, High Priest Zelensky changed the date for the Orthodox birth of Jesus to December 25, matching the West.
Sometimes whataboutism counts i.e., is it possible to imagine that the USA would’ve moved it’s xmas to January the 7th, as previously worshiped by Ukrainians, if it needed weapons and billions from Ukraine after being invaded by Mexico?
PARLIAMENT CELEBRATED XMAS LIKE DEATH AT A BIRTH
The same day, Ukraine’s Parliament celebrated xmas with a draft proposal for increased mobilisation of soldiers for death by Russians.
3-month basic military training for Ukrainians between the ages of 18 and 25 (which would allow for barely-trained troops to be sent straight to the front line of war the next time the politicians decide to increase conscription instead of peace talks).
Those with disabilities falling under Category 3, which includes one eye, missing fingers or a severed limb, can be drafted.
Summons will be served through email and/or employer.
Everyone ages 18-60 must carry a military registration document on their person, ready to present to authority requesting it e.g., police. Those living abroad must register with their consulate.
Draft dodgers will not be issued an identity document, passport, or driver’s licence (or, if they have a licence, will not be permitted to drive their own vehicle). They will not be eligible for loans. They will not have access to state benefits, such as social welfare payments and possibly health services.
Those who have deferrment for university education, will not be exempt if they seek to get study further after the basic degree.
Examples of reasons for exemption include:
“[Married] women and men with three or more children under the age of 18.”
“Women and men who are single parents raising a child (or children) under the age of 18.”
Pregnant women and politicians that are “current members of Parliament and deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.”
The draft law heads to debate and could be voted on in one month’s time.
“Forward he cried from the rear:
and the front rank died,
and Zelensky sat.”

It's not surprising that officials and parliament are above draft. But it is sad. If keeping with traditional thought, Kings should be at the front of the battle, not in well guarded castles
Yeah, that map of war is on the wall at Zelensky’s house. It’s just he’s not been there for a while. Too busy sipping martinis by the pool at one of his new holiday mansions.
