Donald Trump posted on Truth Social that the "Gaza Strip will be turned over to the United States by Israel at the conclusion of fighting."

What a joke. Israel has no right to turn anything over to anyone and would have to exterminate 6 million Palestinians to control the Gaza Strip. Probably all 16 million Palestinians in the world would need to be exterminated to end Resistance. Good luck with that.

It's theoretically possible to force Palestinians out. Consider how many people left Ukraine, that Egypt's military regime is only sustainable through American weapons, Lebanon is tentatively in American hands, and Jordan is a lackey. Of course, the counterargument is how outraged all their citizens would be. If it all blew up in the Middle East, it would be a weapons marketing bonanza.

Sure, it's possible. But forced migration aka ethnic cleansing is a war crime. So the question is how willing the US and its allies will be (or continue) to flaunt international law?

Roslyn Ross's avatar

That is the question but when you look at the genocidal slaughter Israel has inflicted in the past 16 months, and has been doing for 76 years, it is hard to see the US or its allies having the integrity or guts to do anything. Jews in particular and the public in general have to wield power to stop this.

They became an empire flaunting it.

Of course it is possible theoretically but in reality it is not. While the Israelis could ensure no mobile phones could be used to film the ethnic cleansing, as soon as they threw the Palestinians over a border there would be international and local press to film the poor wretches and take down their stories.

The amount of murder, terror and abuse involved in collecting and uplifting 1.5 to 2 million people, nearly half of them children, in the first place makes it even theoretically impossible.

The Palestinian Resistance and Hamas would have to first be completely eradicated and that appears to not even be theoretically possible. Can Israel exterminate them all with nuclear weapons which would also kill Israelis? Would the world accept that? I don't think so.

And if Israel did empty Gaza of all the subhumans, what do you think the Resistance in the remaining 14 million Palestinians would be doing?

I'm not predicting the future. Arguments and counterarguments are important. Or the expression of fear itself.

A lot of Gaza folk are going to die from illnesses caused by the war, and, whether next week or next year, Israel will kill more. Corpses are a long way from a final count.

I've been, and still am, expecting a terrorism/revolutionary blowback, especially inside Israel and the USA, but I haven't even seen 14 million Palestinians peacefully blocking highways.

The surrounding countries know that Hamas and other groups will greatly strengthen if there are forced locations. The USA is hoping for that. If they didn't have a Hamas, they'd invent it.

Yes, I understand all that and also think that if the Palestinian Resistance is given no options but being murdered and maimed at whim and fancy with no hope or justice they will resort to the USraeli tactics of terrorism on the basis that if you make us suffer then we will make you suffer and given the inequality in terms of arms, what else can they do?

But, of course that just makes the Palestinians a target for being real terrorists. Having said that, if there is a God or angels perhaps something will happen to prevent the worst of it.

Note that the ICJ, also known as the World Court, is part of the United Nations with judges selected by its members. It targets guilty states.

The ICC is separate, with treaties between countries. It can target individuals.

However, both are based in Belgium and have a relationship with each other.

Trump has never been big fan of the law, he has been a bankrupt multiple times to avoid debts and paid off witnesses to avoid court. He is currently ignoring international law against undeclared wars and forced displacement. I don't know why he doesn't simply declare all laws applying to the US invalid by fiat. Think of all the savings on the legal system! Summary justice for all!

Trump is as American pie as can be, taught that money and bullshit equal power, reverence and impunity. He's the American Dream. He is America. However, pie is baked by someone else, and the baker works for another who treats America as another outlet.

Impressive. Acknowledges the source of evil,

"actions against Israel and the United States set a dangerous precedent, directly endangering current and former United States personnel”

and expects the pursuit of justice,

"any effort by the ICC to investigate, arrest, detain, or prosecute protected persons, as defined in section 8(d) of this order,”

to be an existential threat to the criminal class in Washington and Tel Aviv,

"constitutes an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States"

Jeffery Dahmer couldn’t have put forward a better defense.

We can see that dark times are ahead for the citizens of the USA.

Soon Trump will be forced into a border war with Central America.

He can't allow things like the ICJ, or the Geneva Convention to get in his way.

So if people rebel against El Salvador's rule leader, the ICJ won't be able to sand in the way of any war crimes his buddies commit..

So few people will remember that folks were warning about a crude technocratcy taking over our society.

But they won't care. As long as they get to see the Super Bowl 🏈

Life will go on.

And so will genocide.

Exactly. Nothing will change until the superficial addictions of the USA are interrupted. We need an era when the quarterback isn't fucking the prettiest cheerleader in a nationalist small town isn't a stereotype.

Weird how democracy has evolved, no?

Says Germany while attempting to disband a populist party that threatens to win the election.

Says Romania while negating an election where a populist candidate won.

Says France while Macron outright installs a prop prime minister.

Crazy me, but it sure seems like the people talking loudest about democracy are the worst offenders of its ideals.

Yeah, Trump saying that the USA and Israel are democracies with armies obeying the rules of law is a record for how far a dictionary can travel.

Wow. The US finds the ICJ actions to be without foundation, and forbids any investigation that might establish same. Also wow: the government does not need to provide advance notice of the seizure of assets to anyone (natural person, group, organization or business) the government finds in violation of the order, as well as anyone donating to any individual or entity determined to bin violatione. So at any moment, anyone could have their bank accounts and investments frozen, all their possessions - including their home - seized, unable to earn a living, or even rely on friends, family, or crowdfunding for survival.

Yay America, home of the "free."

Having worked with and for Israelis and spent time in what is called Israel and being fortunate enough to drive around Occupied Palestine when one could, I would only say, I was shocked, but not really surprised at the openly expressed bigotry of Israelis toward Palestinians in particular and by extension, non-Jews in general.

What does surprise and shock me more is the support of so many Jews around the world for the evil atrocity which is and always has been, Zionist Israel. Yes, some Jews before 1947 and after predicted the ghastly evolution of such a State, but most Jews have supported and funded Israel when it would have been easy enough for them to find out just what they were supporting and funding. Denial is a river of fear which runs through the heart of Judaism is my conclusion.

Even more surprising is how many non-Jews, Governments and individuals, who have closed their eyes and minds to the evil that is Israel for 76 years, including the unmissable atrocities and war crimes of the past 16 months. WHY?

What is going on? Does Mossad really have compromising information on just about every politician in the Western world which keeps them in line? Ditto for mainstream media, owners and staff?

Or, has the Zionist propaganda machine, spewing away for 128 years really been so effective in brainwashing not just Israelis but millions around the world?

Why have Israelis been allowed to get away with it for so long to become an even greater atrocity on the planet? You could almost believe there are forces at work which hate Jews so much if Israel did not exist they would have had to invent it.

Or is Ziorael a great lesson from the Cosmos - THIS IS THE EVIL YOU BECOME WHEN YOU BELIEVE WHAT THEY BELIEVE AND DO WHAT THEY DO.
