Congratulations. I understand what you’re conveying. It’s counterproductive to read many Substacks on the same topic. I find many of the writers posting on Ukraine are all getting their basic material from the same sources then adding their own “spin”. I suspect it’s going to become that way regarding the Middle East as well. Africa is not touched upon much so that will be welcomed. You do branch into other areas as well with a unique approach.
I have a saturation point e.g., 1 good writer can be revelatory, 10 good writers makes me knowledgeable and teaches me mood, but 30 good writers on the same subject tends to anger me more than inform.
As a newbie I discovered you on Karl Sanchez and other interesting stacks from your reading list. Your efforts have made you my #1Go to source on what's happening. Btw I do appreciate your unique perspectives on global events, caring to listen and responding to commentors and humor too! Your tireless efforts and commitment to global peace do not go unnoticed. You are indeed a talented and caring human being in for the long fight that is making a difference!
Dammit. I hate it when I'm trying to be rude and people think I'm funny (but I'll blow my nose and get over it). Karl Sanchez is terrific. If I had to choose only three substackers on Russia, he'd be one of them. Thanks, John!
Looking forward to you feeling less stressed! We can all use that. It is physically impossible in these times to have both voluminous and rigid goals due to the compaction in time that is occurring as near as I can tell.
Thanks for the shout out. It's a true appreciation from me because you clearly know that my (and probably those from many others too) 10 minute reads take close to two days of content collection, absorption, collation, and editing to produce. Making a real difference in 30 or 50 lives that radiate from there is so much more fruitful than 250 or 400 that read it and don't then spread the message because they are trying to squeeze the lemon juice out of mayonnaise by simply reading everything. Best always in being the genuine difference maker you were destined to be. And enjoy life also!
Stressed is proof of caring, and appropriate for turbulent times. But time is more the factor than stress. I'm getting older. How do I use my days best. Obsession means never getting bored, but it sure as hell doesn't mean well-rounded (an old term that had value). Thoroughly agree on you regarding interaction. The most important things I think I write rarely get the most views. But if I wait a day or two before posting again, it will, at least, get a bit more.
Empathy is the best compliment. Thank you.

Sometimes adjustments just make sense as we understand the situation better. Thanks for sharing your process.
