Faith isn't organised religion... As much as it is proposed to be.

Leaders make it organised. It's made cultish by those who follow. Wherever there are leaders and followers, there's likely abuse. Without digging into individual spirituality, those who don't obey are not part of the faith they claim to belong to. Religion is rules and suppression with a carrot you never know will be delivered.

You indeed had something to say about religion this Sunday. I approve of the very eloquent message, for what that's worth! In primitive (i.e non-evidence based societies) region has an evolutionary function. Once a society bases its culture on verifiable facts, religion turns counterproductive. That is where we are now.

Ah, you remembered my comment... which leaves you more open to joining my Marilyn Manson Cult :) I constantly struggle with supporting human rights when those abused are supporters of religion denying human rights. I watched an investigative documentary this weekend that made me (again) want to rescue girls from religious men. I've scheduled the link.

Faith is not "religion". A "religion" is supposed to lead one on the path closer to God. If it doesn't, don't bother. I was lucky and was in a terrible place as a very young girl, losing my mother, having no indoctrination, and looking for solace in that which I could not see but was promised. It was real, it was life-changing, it set my course and path in life, and allowed me to endure enormous tragedies despite almost losing my mind. The experience of the veil lifting for a moment and knowing the pure love GOD is an experience unequal to any earthy experience. One can't understand the scriptures without the Holy Spirit and one can't get the Holy Spirit without seeking and asking for it. It's a still small voice that lets you know what is true and what is false that leads to Discernment. An invaluable gift these days. Without it, the scriptures are just ink on a page. With it, their true meaning comes alive to us individually speaking to us on a one on one basis. Something not translatable because it’s in a language that only speaks to one's soul. Oh, Jerusalem isn't a place. It's a spiritual dimension. All those other things you mentioned are not quite literal and misunderstood and doesn't take into account that Bibi Mileikowsky is trying to manifest a spiritual realm via a perversion of words people don't bother to understand. I'm expecting an AI Jesus or "UFO" to complete the disception, including the red heifer!!

Whilst I appreciate your detailed comment, I cannot relate. I left Christianity long ago, and am absolutely certain that atheism and absurdism is the right place for me. Faith and religion become interchangeable and irrelevant. Community exists either within a religion or between everyone out of it. Either we choose to part of the world or all of it. Being good is hardest when there's no reward.

I also left "Christianity" a long time ago but I never left GOD. Two different things. People suck. Faith and Religion can be interchangeable and can more likely hinder one's path toward GOD. Just because I don't like people never stops me from continually helping my community nor fellow man. Being "good" is actually very easy when has felt the love of GOD. The endurance and unfathomable courage of the Palestinian people are a testament to those who know and love GOD. It's almost a tangible thing when we see it but the rest of it is the iceberg underneath the ocean and is where lies the depth of our soul and love for our GOD. Nothing a mere mortal can understand. I respect your choice. Most of the world stands with you. That's why they're easily misled. Much as I dislike people, I don't wish that for anyone. When people say they feel "blessed", it doesn't mean with wealth or goods. It means we have been given eyes that can see beyond the realm of what is "real" and see beyond the illusion without reading a book or checking the "facts". It's a spiritual gift available to the illiterate, the poor, the unwanted, and the rich man. I wouldn't trade that for anything the world had to offer.

The leaders of the mega churches make millions ...

Then they send the sons of their flock off to die.

"We have to fight the commies in Vietnam !"

"We have to fight the Taiban !"

" We have to fight ants from outer space !"

All of my life it's been the same.

The religions hold their flock together out of fear, and stupidity.

If the people stopped going to war, the leaders would declare martial law and kill those that disobay.

The trailer for the movie was really good.....

Most people are voting early.

So the new fearless leader has already been picked.

It won't matter though.

Both are useless Mouthpiece of the same NWO...

OTYETS: Do not worry, Cynok, soon we, Yevreyev, I mean Communists, will soon take over America. We failed in Germany, but the entire West will become Socialist, Communist, and even Atheist because all they love is power, money, fame, sex and drugs just like the Yevreyev in Europe, Germany, France, America and Hollywood.

BASHEER: Otyets, do you not believe in the Torah?

OTYETS: Cynok, there was no Abraham, no Exodus, no Egypt, no Pharaohs, no Ten Plagues, no Jericho, no Israelite Kingdom anywhere, no David and Goliath, no Solomon Temple, and Yevreyvey were just Babylonian Arabian bandits who use to sacrifice babies to their God Baal just like the legendary Abram or Avram, and they all spoke an Arabian dialect!

(My "Jewish" otyets' (father's) name is Stepanovitch Drinkin.)
