Azerbaijan’s victory over Armenia in Nagorno-Karabakh is an earthquake for Eurasia. Justin Trudeau and Ukrainian refugees also get special attention this week.
Remember the Chinese spy balloon, and how it dominated Western news? The American government eventually admitted that it was blown off course. Now, much later, it admits that it wasn’t a spy balloon.
Russia bombing itself in a market in Donetsk was recently hailed as a sign of evil Putin bombing citizens of Ukraine. The illogic of that sentence should have been enough to dismiss that narrative, yet it made endless headlines. Suddenly, the New York Times (and others) admit it was a Ukrainian missile (but without holding them to account).
They know that the whispering truth will never get the same effect as the pulverizing propaganda before it.
At least the Truth community recognises lies quicker than award-winning publications do. I’m sure that will mean we’ll get rewarded too… maybe land up in a sex scandal, demonetized or imprisoned.
In times like these, starting a boutique brothel specializing in educated women servicing men who respect them risks not being seen as liberal. Oh, well.
DOUBLE WAKE UP!
HOT QUOTE
Ohio Senator J.D. Vance’s official query regarding Ukraine’s war spokesperson, the American Sarah Ashton-Cirillo (born Michael Cirillo) who threatened to hunt down propagandists:
“Is this individual employed by the Ukrainian military, and do we have reason to believe they are compensated using American resources?
Is this individual an American citizen? Did they ever serve, in any capacity, American intelligence services?
Do we have reason to believe Ukrainian forces or intelligence services are planning to commit acts of violence against those who engage in ‘Russian propaganda’?”

“When I was a child,
I caught a fleeting glimpse
out of the corner of my eye

I cannot put my finger on it now
The child is grown,
the dream is gone
I have become comfortably numb…”

My God, how the hell do you manage to go through all this? Substack classifies this as an 8-minute read, so I thought I'd manage it in ten. I spent half an hour just reading the titles of the links, and I only got about 2/3 of the way through before I had to stop. But you must have at least had a quick look at everything linked to be sure it was more or less on the same sort of page as you'd like, and I suspect you've delved a lot more deeply into all of them to make quite sure you're more than just superficially familiar with what they're putting out and how you relate to it. How the hell do you do that? You must speed-read in your sleep, or something?! There aren't enough hours in the day for me to even read through the titles of the work you link to, never mind work out how I might relate to them. (I did go through the one with Mearsheimer, though. I like him.) Now, I understand why you'd promised yourself not to post for a while. You can wear yourself out, you know? Be careful.
