Wait. You're promising them it's going to me short? ROTFL. I'll do my best.

One got in under 400 words, and another kindly allowed me to cut theirs below 400. Since I've yet to compose mine, I can appreciate the others sweating :)

Great piece, by the way. Thanks so much for sharing about the journalists in particular.

The basic premise for consideration when it comes to solving a problem being, that first off, you identify the problem, secondly, that you clearly frame the problem, thirdly, that you own the problem. The Ukraine has a problem, yet they have failed to address the three most essential tenets of problem solving, but are rather following a fantasy scripted by the US and it's EU vassal allies.

They're repeating the history of our world, which says a lot about us as a species. Those of us pointing at facts and logic are the outliers, the invasive virus into a dumb mass that's got a CNN vaccination against us.

I'm looking forward to that post on Israel.

I guess we will continue on a loosing streak and liberate Georgia.

That sounds about right.

Maybe we'll actually win one this time

I take comfort in that these small countries have existed despite the odds. The history of the Caucasus region is of survival. They were Christians in 4th century which is 1200 years before a white dick pissed on my shore.

I remember at the onset of the war when David Remnick, the New Yorker editor, wrote this long hagiographic ode to Zelensky that read like the weirdest teen celeb worship, and I thought oh man, here we go again, the US security state is going all in on this guy, this war is going to be ugly…

Nice Henry Rollins quote, btw

The USA and its allies do repetition well. It's their talent. Why change when the mass Public always allows that profiteering. Stupidity is our biggest enemy.

In an educated world, everyone would realise that rock 'n roll is the only appropriate soundtrack to our absurdity and joy. Maybe I stop quoting politicians completely, and just use Marilyn Manson :)

"I had a little monkey,

I sent him to the country, and I fed him on gingerbread

Along came a choo-choo, knocked my monkey coo-coo,

and now my monkey's dead

At least he looks that way,

then again, don't we all?"

Great piece. The trouble is, basically, that everyone I know seems to be in love with Zelenskyy, except me of course.

Preach, brother. We're with you.

Unspeakable tragedy going on in the Ukraine, with over half a million needless deaths to satisfy the blood lust of western predators orchestrating mindless savagery and destruction. For power and money.

The people cheering for Ukrainians to win are killing Ukrainians. So often, tragedy is stupid.

Thanks, Mark. Always insightful. Blinken and “Toria” are King Midas in reverse. I read your farewell remarks Blinken gave Victoria. They’ve been buddies for 30 years. Losers to the bone, not a single effective policy success. From Afghanistan to Ukraine, they’ve left a trail of destruction, poverty, insecurity, corruption, and instability. The delusional Zelenskyy fell for their mendacity. Someone who at the outset the neocons made him look as a courageous and decent leader fighting the bad Russians, was all a ruse he’s become an increasingly delusional narcissist that is out of touch with reality. That’s what happens when you hang around the DC establishment, which unfortunately is high jacked and won’t be going anywhere. Poor Ukraine, its soldiers slaughtered by the thousands while half of the population have left the country. But the Beltway bandits can’t wait to get their hands on the loot the USG will squander if reconstruction ever happens.

The reason for their promotions was those successful policies. Not for Americans, Iraqis etc. but for the corporations.
