I read recent poll numbers of Israeli citizens and their views on Palestinians that were staggering. More than half don’t believe there are any innocent people in Gaza. This country needs to be treated like the pariah state it is yesterday. Sanctions, blockades, war crime tribunals, all of it.
Polls are often sketchy but the huge amount of media I've read suggests that genocidal nature is true. Those glorious demonstrations in Tel Aviv against Netanhayu were only a different political and Zionistic approach rather than humanitarian. Israel's "mission statement" of making the world safer for Jews has had the complete opposite effect. Conflating critiques of Israel with antisemitism is a cheap tactic and unhelpful, but having said that, would anybody be shocked if worldwide perception of Jews plummeted?
