The Russians are trying for a diplomatic solution, which they themselves know is not going to happen, before they have to step up to the plate to honor the agreement they have with Iran.

One has to wonder at what point the agreement for military support by Russia is triggered.

The dark horse being China, who have no formal agreement for military support to Iran, but who has vast financial investments and a dependence upon Iranian oil, as well as a strategic interest in Iran and Russia for the existence of their new silk road and multiple other reasons.

At what point will China be triggered into reacting to protect their various interests and their future?

Russian diplomacy has never worked with the West so I'm disappointed in it going through the same motions. I have the same feeling when countries claim to support Palestine but never do anything about it except issue words such as "strongly condemn", "deeply concerned" and "support peace".

Russia does it in the interest of good protocol and respectable norms, before going over to action, which they know is inevitable, given that the West doesn't understand the meaning of the term, Negotiate.

Negotiate in Western Political English dictionaries appears to mean, Demand.

Negotiate: To demand, expect, enforce and tantrum i.e., plot against.

I have to thank you for your second and third paragraphs. You make some damn good distinctions and declarations. It's a good reminder. Nevertheless, I think the zionist state controls America.

They control the American Mind with their lies and propaganda. They control our government hence our nation through AIPAC. Although they consist only 2.4% of our population, they have us fearing the 2.2% Muslims in our population.

I read somewhere on Substack that London is the Root of All Evil because of their Imperial genocidal nature. London gave birth to three genocidal colonies. They are North America (USA & Canada), Australia and the zionist state. Can't argue that!

As dumb and ridiculous as Brit prime ministers are, I share the belief that the money behind them still has muscle. At a a tangent, have you seen the first episode of the first season of 'Black Mirror' wherein the most popular princess on social media is kidnapped and will be killed unless the prime minister fucks a pig on live TV? That is one of my favourite commentaries on modern society.

I see AIPAC and its kind as the naturally evil result of having long given rewards and impunity to Israel as an employee. Of course there will be jostling which I tried to explain with 'Boxes and Chairs' - https://www.mikehampton.co.uk/p/not-democracy-just-boxes-chairs

I like Yanis Varoufakis’ take on where we’re heading and recommend strongly his Technofeudalism book.

Watched a new Black Mirror episode last night Called ‘Common People’, looks like they are picking up the signs too.

I haven't read the book but I've great respect for him, and have watched a dozen of his interviews this year. I see 'Common People' is ep 1 in S7, so I screwed up and was actually watching ep 1 of the first season i.e., with the pig. Have corrected my earlier comment.

Yes. In the current conflict it is winning. Undoubtedly, Mossad was was excellently cruel, and hampered Iranian response. And, as usual, they assassinated competently. Similarly, they cowed Hezbollah, and damaged Hamas. But I remind that my opinion in the bigger picture remains i.e., 'Israel: The Downfall' - https://www.mikehampton.co.uk/p/israel-the-downfall

Yes, I agree. Since October 8 they have been winning in a sense, although not defeating Hamas and co. Their Downfall is not far off. I give them three years maximum

I don't have a prediction because a lot of empire is behind them and empire's don't die easily. But I take heart in that half the world now sees them for who they are. Similarly, the idiocy of American politics has even made a few Europeans wake up. Changing minds is important for eventual change.
