Exactly. But the alternative argument is that 48% of the people didn't vote, thinking politics means shit, and corruption will always rule. Ranked Choice Voting is the only logical step forward for those who still believe democracy can exist. Australia uses it, in part, but that the Western world doesn't subscribe wholesale says to me that democracy solely exists for anti-democracy manipulation.
And of course the update to your article is that the High Court of Romania nullified the results and cancelled the second round of the election... I was in Bucharest when it happened. I'm posting something about it tomorrow
