Mike, thanks for posting this. Initially, I looked at the length of the interview and wasn't sure I was willing to commit so much time, but thought I'd watch to the first 10 or 15 minutes. I watched it all the way through and ordered his book. Lot's of powerful quotes, observations and stories and his spot-on warning. I was especially hit by how, as his wealth was rocketing, he bought a flat, had everything removed and slept on a mattress on the concrete floor. He learned the moral hollowing out cost of mega wealth.
His observation about the massive unearned, undeserved wealth of the wealthiest class and the dystopian, stripped bare future humanity has entered is spot on. As is his call for people to come together and remake our unjust society.
For anyone wondering whether to take the time to watch the full interview, I encourage you to take just 8 minutes to watch the short documentary "Life Out of Balance" to get a sense of Gary Stevenson's story, warning and rallying call: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJ6ZSgkxgFQ
I'll also post to my Substack. We need to spread this man's story and warning.
You're the light in my day to say it. My header wasn't hyperbole, and I was expecting nobody to watch.
I was fascinated, the guy who could teach me something over a comfortable beer. I watched both of them the same week.
I dig the Novara channel. I may not agree on everything but they especially bring logic to the madness of the UK. Imagine a world where presenters such as these had the BBC or CNN platform - a better world, indeed.
And imagine the world if we had those same kind of commentators directing govt policy. In the states there is a podcast "Judging Freedom" with (former) judge Andrew Napalitono. He has weekly interviews with Jeffrey Sachs, Scott Ritter, Ray McGovern and others. I frequently ponder how much better this collapsing fascist con job of a govt would be if we had such people in office.
I used to watch him all the time but unsubscribed from a lot of my favourites to 1. hear new voices for my opinion shaping and 2. Have more time to write.
I would love to choose a Cabinet and Media staff. Damn sad that no billionaire has the same mindset to do the same.
Mike H is doing good! I am from a comfortably well-off family and I ended up homeless (until one last investment came through but that is going to run out in six months!), so I am like some kind of opposite example of the description of this 27-yr old guy!!!!# I am interested in Mike's new turn. So ---maybe I can find time to watch that video presentation. I have two eight-year old poor man's laptops to deploy for this exciting task once I find the right place and time for it. I purchased both my laptops soon after becoming roofed/housed, so you would think I am ready for anything the world can throw up at me, right? I mean with all this technology ... I also write what I call ECONO posts if anybody wants to try and wade through it. So long for now,......
Extreme inequality is undeniably an enormous problem. Trading markets, whatever some imagined to be their ideal purpose, have become tools for raw domination. But over-emphasis of disparity of wealth and ignoring other, attendant faces of the situation overlooks important, diagnostic characteristics of the intentions of the plutocratic tyrants. For instance, massive, invasive immigration only occurs by design and it is inextricably liked to the intended, engineered depopulation of native peoples, particularly -- it seems -- the European peoples, but others are surely slated for destruction when their utility is expended in turn. The Left-Right canard, among others, is a feature of the manipulative theatrics constructed to prevent clear thinking and to dissipate effective organization and effort toward correction.
War is a market too. You bomb people to make profit, they will run to your country where you are not bombing. But that explodes as ideological tensions and thus the population is divided and distracted whilst profiteers rule.
And it's being done by Western 'Christian' billionaires.
I just don;t want us to lose sight of the fact that Libya, Syria, Iraq, Iran and Palestine have gone through hell because of the West. We have to look at the source of the problem, the pain, before the affect.
'Christian' only in the loosest of senses. Whatever their tenuous familial, historical or cultural affiliation to Christianity, I do not see a recognizable, authentic identity between the oligarchs steering this tyrannical takeover of the world and the Faith. I believe that--in my comment--I explained my prioritization of the root problem and its ancillary disorders (I would call them 'tactics' as well as effects). Would I like to see these characters stripped of their empowering wealth? You bet. Inherent human evils (recall the Christian concept regarding Original Sin) will emerge with that amount of wealth. Once that situation obtains, there is no limit to the chicken-or-egg conundrums. Alright, assuming that you and I can avoid spinning around like a dog chasing its tail, how are the obscenely wealthy to have their inordinate power and influence reined in?
We don't have to chase tails. I want it clear that European culture is being eroded whilst Middle East countries are destroyed. It's the same parcel, and that should be recognised. Religion is a tool for the by-product, not the cause.
No idea how to use it. I saw something about a feature converting vid to podcast, but not into it (yet). I am pissed at them having newcomers subscribe to all recommendations! Some idiots recommend so many in the hope those they recommend them notice them. Now a subsrciber whose clicking without reading will be flooded, thus diluting the attention to the page they wanted to subscribe to. Furthermore, they may choose to quit substack. I'm not taking a pic of my tits for views. We're here for serious outrage.

I'm Mike. Video is of Gary Stevenson.
So.

And if engineered depopulation is true, then consider the converse, which is that brown cultures are also being destroyed by these wars.
Yes, true. But we are in a phase where the brown populations are being moved around the chessboard in a strategy against Western, Christian nations.
And it's being done by Western 'Christian' billionaires.
I just don;t want us to lose sight of the fact that Libya, Syria, Iraq, Iran and Palestine have gone through hell because of the West. We have to look at the source of the problem, the pain, before the affect.

Thanks. I repeat my question . . .
Excellent video and commentary. Hat tip to Mark who told about this blog!
I'll have to buy him a hat :)
Mr. Hampton, I am not sure to what you are referring. I am rarely reluctant in such matters. [Smile.]
Mike.. seems now you can add video snippets to boost your Substack now.
Less dependent on other throttling platforms.
Keep up the exposing ‼️

Haha.. I get you.. and very valid.
Thats why I prefer using my own website.
It flows how I want it to flow.
